Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy a SubnetSleuth licence from subnetsleuth.com. SubnetSleuth is sold by Justin White, a sole proprietor in Canada ("we", "us"). Your use of the software is governed by the SubnetSleuth End User Licence Agreement; these terms cover the purchase itself.
What you buy
A licence key that lets the number of people named in your plan use SubnetSleuth for one year from the date of purchase, including every update released during that year, as described in the licence agreement. After the year ends you keep the right to use the versions released while your licence was active.
| Plan | Users | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | 1 | $490 per year |
| Team | 5 | $1,950 per year |
| Enterprise | 10 or more | By quotation |
Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices for new purchases and renewals; a change never affects a licence you have already paid for.
Free trial
You can use SubnetSleuth with every feature for 14 days without buying anything, on one network (a subnet of up to 256 addresses) and up to 25 devices in a project. The trial is for evaluation.
Payment
Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details. You are responsible for any sales, use, value-added or similar taxes, duties or levies that apply to your purchase in your jurisdiction, other than taxes on our income. Invoices and purchase orders are available for Team and Enterprise plans on request.
Delivery
Your licence key is shown on screen as soon as the payment succeeds and can be downloaded as a file. PayPal emails you a receipt. If you lose your key, email us with your receipt and we will send it again.
Renewal
Licences do not renew automatically and we will never charge you again without a new purchase. To renew, buy a new licence before or after your current one ends.
Refunds
If SubnetSleuth is not right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] and we will refund the full amount to the original payment method. When a purchase is refunded, its licence ends and you agree to remove the licence key from your computers. Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
Support
Support is by email at [email protected]. We aim to reply within one business day, and sooner for Team and Enterprise customers.
Liability
Our liability in connection with a purchase is limited as set out in the licence agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Canada in which we are located and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
